Bluetooth Rage From Larry David
Thanks to the good people at Geeks Are Sexy, I found this wonderful clip from Curb Your Enthusiasm that perfectly encapsulates the way I feel about Bluetooth headsets and grown men talking overly loudly about their utterly uninteresting business lives right freaking next to me at the airport, or in this case, at dinner.
While Homotron supports all things electronic, we also support not wanting to drive a steak knife into one another's chattering faces. For that reason alone, I encourage everyone to watch this video and remember that if a restaurant patron near you should lash out against you, all it takes is one slice into your trigeminal nerve to make you all Mary Jo Buttafuoco - forever.
So enjoy your technology, droids and whirls, but don't get yourselves cut up in the face. Mmmkay?

One way or another, Microsoft will try to sell you a phone.
This is why I only support BT Headsets for driving purposes!
Unfortunately, studies have shown that even if you use headsets, it's still a bad idea to speak on the phone while driving. It's about equal to being drunk! Hands-free devices had little effect versus just speaking directly on the phone.
That's why I don't use the phone at all while driving. No phone call is important enough to risk dividing my attention while driving.
Really? hmmm... personally I love the BT for driving. TO me, it's just like talking to one of your friends in the car then, and much better than having a phone to your ear. And at least here in Illinois, you won't get a ticket for talking with a BT headset in!
