Confirmed: iPhone Firmware 1.1.2 Live November 9th!

The newest iPhone firmware update 1.1.2 will go live on Friday, November 9th, along side the international release of the "jesus phone," according to sources at Pocket Lint.
While Apple is staying tight-lipped on the full details of the release, we can assume this is an update mainly targeted at adding the languages, dictionaries and other essential tools for this international release. There was also no specific time given for the release.
If you have unlocked your phone, or hacked it for third party applications (possibly by using the security hole we previously reported on), I would reccomend doing your homework before updating to this firmware. We wouldn't want any of our loyal homotrons to have broken iPhones!

3D iPhone glasses. Why?
I read that someone stumbled upon references to a voice recorder within iTunes 7.5. There were also a few indications that they will enable disk use mode for the iPhone and in turn will enable manually managing music.
We'll know for sure tomorrow!
Yep, that's correct TexCub. I held off on reporting those rumors because a lot of times Apple just adds those text strings (that's where the rumours came from) automatically and they do nothing with them or take them out next release.
