How To Use An iPhone: Bionic Woman Edition

I was watching the latest Bionic Woman on my TiVo Thursday night, and something kept bothering me about the scene where the bad guy was talking on the good guy's iPhone (does every character on every major T.V. show have an iPhone this season?). I was wondering why the screen wasn't off when he was holding it up to his face...
... Yep. He was holding the iPhone upside down. The proximity detector is by the earpiece, but since he was holding the iPhone upside down, there was nothing near it so the screen didn't turn off.
Now, I've done my fair share of acting, and I know sometimes people hand you props you don't know what to do with, but you'd think someone would have pointed this out to the poor guy. Especially with product placement like this.

If it ain't broke... cease production. Right?
roffle!
not to be a jerk, but as a camera man, sometimes you need to fake things for them to seem, well more real, like when you filp it the right way, the light isnt on, so it doesnt look like its "working" and more people would prob have a problem with a cell light not being on then "lighting" someones face
but your right he looks like a douch e

BY THE WAY, NO ONE WHO READS THESE BLOGS SHOULD EVER BE WATCHING THE BIONIC WOMAN , CAUSE THEY HIRED ISAIH WASHINGTON, WHO HATES HOMOS AND OUTED T.R. FROM GREYS, OH AND CALLED HIM A F ------ TWICE IN PUBLIC, ONE OF THOSE TIMES AFTER T.R. WON A EMMY OR SOMETHING,.. THAT DUDE NEEDS TO BE PUT UP ON THE CHOPPING BLOCK AND FORGOT ABOUT, NOT ENCOURAGED, SO PLEASE STOP WATCHING THAT SHOW, OH, NOT TO MENTION IT'S A HORRID SHOW, GO BUY THE VERONICA MARS DVDS IF YOU NEED SOME FEMALE ENTERTAINMENT.
Isaiah Washington doesn't have enough screen time on the show to justify my boycotting the show. Besides, just because one actor is a bad apple doesn't mean the whole rest of the cast should suffer. It's not like the show's producers are posting anti-gay messages all over the show.
Oh, you might want to get that caps-lock key checked out. Seems to be broken o.O
Yeah, I gave thought to the cellphone light "realism" issue, and they could have done that without having to have the guy hold the iPhone upside down. The proximity detector only turns the screen off during calls, so all they would have had to do was load up anything else on the phone (e.g. a video) and have the guy hold it up the correct way, and all would be fine.
