I Wear My Sunglasses At Night, So I Can See My Video

YelloMosquito

Has your iPod Video become obsolete? Are you tired off all that glaring sunlight on the train ride in the morning? Have you ever wanted to sit in your room and watch TV... more privately? Well, you're in luck, because YelloMosquito has come to your rescue with the new Qingbar GP300!

These cool little faux-sunglasses act as a personal media player, but the big twist (aside from the glasses-style set up) is the proposed video resolution. The manufacturer claims that glasses will simulate you watching a 50" display as if it were just 2 meters away! This cool little device also comes with a few other bells and whistles like jacks for high quality headphones, a Mini SD card slot, a replaceable lithium battery, and a remote control for eas of use. Supported formats include: MP3, WMA9, IMA, AAC, MP4, MPG, AVI, ASF, .TXT (for e-books and the like), and JPEG (for Photos).

Qingbar GP 300

At first, I was a bit unsure about these, but the more I look at them and see the specs, I think these could be kinda cool. Using the mass transit system here in Chicago on a daily basis, I can definitely understand the desire to completely block out the people around you. If they can deliver the kind of video they purport to deliver, I may just be on board... I'm getting a bit tired of squinting at my iPod on the train. Granted, they may not be the top of "cool," but if I can block out the world, who cares?

Swing over to YelloMosquito's Website to buy your Qingbar GP300 for $399. If you're like me though, you can pre-order yours for $299 to be delivered in early December.
