Steampunk Laptop For Holmes, Watson & You
I've been sitting here in Mama Tiny's palace for several days now, and I've noticed that absolutely everything that touches the floor has clawed feet of some kind or another. So naturally, I drooled overmuch at this nifty steampunk laptop made by Mr Datamancer over at Brass Goggles (Mr Datamancer has been featured in both Newsweek and the New York Times, so he's no slouch).
With a glass-lidded frame covering countless brass cogs to the speakers hidden beneath the black-lined "violin-style" holes, this fabulous piece of techno-art owns my soul. Check out the cute little turnkey power switch, the leather wristpads and the silver chains anchoring the screen. And those feet! Where is Mycroft Holmes when you need him?

Not only is it ultra nerd-chic, but it's also an incredibly beautiful piece of work that even the non-geek can enjoy. Even if you don't "get" steampunk. I wish I had the skills to do that to MY computer and not kill it...
