Flexible 10-Inch LCD For Your Bendy Pleasure

"No, my name ain't e-paper, it's ITRI - Miss Flexy if you're nasty."
You're looking at the Industrial Technology Research Institute's new prototype: a 10.4-inch LCD display that can bend and flex all over the place. This new cholesteric LCD from Taiwan is less than half the thickness of other cholesteric LCDs, measuring a razor-sharp 0.4 inches, and with flexibility courtesy of adding a glass substrate instead of two plastic substrates. If you think I know what that means, bless your heart.
What this flexible display can't do (other than wrap its ankles around its head) is display images consistently without blank spaces or display more than 57% of the NTSC color gamut. That part I understood! The future is almost here, gentlefolk.
