The tubes are a-buzzin' with news of this... improbable... beauty from Korean manufacturer Tomato. Here's an emaciated 8.5mm thin hard drive packing an obese 60GB into a 1.8-inch Seagate HD clad in one of six gorgeous colors (silver, black, blue, pink, orange and...chartreuse!). And it requires no external power, so it can go slinking from device to device with impunity and a minimum of fuss.

This bad boy charges and syncs via USB and has everyone buzzing with how much he resembles a portable music player. In fact, that's the only real downside apart from the $107 pricetag - an external HDD this pretty is bound to be anticlimactic. This one's a heartbreaker, boys.
