In all seriousness, this is for real. Researchers already have a working prototype, and the commercial applications for pilots, drivers and soldiers is readily apparent to anyone who's ever played a video game. Not that I'm lining up to see how transistors feel against the inner lining of my eyelids, mind you - but how cool is this?
