CES 2008: Texas Instruments DLP's Tiny Pico Projector

Reaching out to what I imagine can only be the annoying-grandma-portable-gadget crowd is TI's Pico projector, shown in prototypical form at CES and pitted against 3M's similar mini-projector, also unveiled at CES.

The notion is to make video and picture functionality more versatile and accessible on mobile devices, and the projector furthers that cause, in theory, by letting the user configure the display on-the-fly, projecting images willy-nilly in a wanton orgy of graphical exhibitionism.

And they say there's nothing new under the sun...
