CES 2008: More Curved Monitor Goodness

This Alienware monitor caught the eyes and imaginations of a lot of folks at CES, even though it's a prototype with still-visible seams and a vertical resolution of a mere 900 pixels. Though I've written about it before, this clip shows what the experience of playing on a superwide, curved monitor would be like: freaking awesome.

While I can't see myself ever actually buying a monster like this (I just got used to widescreen aspect ratios, let's not go nuts), I would most definitely take advantage of playing games on a screen like this. And while the benefits of peripheral vision in productivity software are questionable, there's nothing like more space in which to arrange your documents...
