Corsair Stuffs 32GB Into A Flash Drive

Jumpdrives, thumb drives, flash drives, keychains-with-memory - call them what you will, they're everywhere. And while I love amassing the little buggers, especially the free ones that some companies give out at conferences (with a digital press kit inside), there's really only so many things you can do with 512MB of storage. Even at 2GB, a flash drive is nice for a quick and portable backup or a few docs and songs, but it doesn't replace an external hard drive.
What does? Corsair's new 32GB flash drives, which come in both rubberized and water-proof models, and could hold up to 16 full-length movies, according to Corsair. That's close to the amount of storage one would need to back up, say, one's entire MP3 collection or thereabouts. Tons of torrented porn. All your photos. Even my plans for world domination fit snugly into this pinky-sized storage medium.
Of course, at $230-$250, don't expect to be handed one with a flyer and some Mardi Gras beads.
