iTunes 7.6 Adds 64bit Support For Vista

This news might have a limited audience, but as a user of the 64bit version of Windows Vista (my hardware is 64bit, and peripheral/driver support hasn't been a problem for me), my iTunes experience has been hobbled of late.
Ever since my fancy new PC arrived sporting my first copy of Vista (which I've decided is visually bloated and about as friendly to use as a spiked chastity belt), iTunes has not been playing well with the 64bit OS. Previously, iTunes on 64bit versions of Vista had been reporting a faulty installation with each launch of the program, as well as being unable to rip or burn discs. This made me sad, since Leopard is 64bit and I foolishly assumed iTunes would have no problem doing a similar dance on Vista.
But as of last night's update to version 7.6, iTunes has either a 64bit version for Windows or full 64bit support (the program has folders in both the x86 and 64bit "Program Files" folders). Once I updated my iPod Touch to firmware version 1.1.3 as per Den Den Boy's impressions, all was finally well in the 64bit world. It's the future, baby!

Unfort. we XP64 users get no lovin'. Well fuck iTunes and fuck Apple. I RSS my podcasts and pirate my music, tv, and movies. My Creative Zen Touch also doesn't need iTunes, so I'm covered on all fronts. Load the cannons this iTunes ship is going down! [insert pirate laugh]
