DIY Raygun
Backyard FX tackles the job of building your very own ray gun, and manages to be amusing in the process - cobbling together $30 ray guns rather than slapping down $700 for the admittedly awesome ray guns for sale at Peter Jackson's WetaNZ.
There follows a "shoot-off" parodying NY's own Ray's Pizza - but for my money the real action is the ingenuity of these guns, built from spare lamps, screwdrivers and the likes and put together like grown-up Legos with a little epoxy and some industrious scew-usage.
Now who wants to build us a Homotron?
