Hulu Opens To The Public Tomorrow
Hulu will be emerging from it's Beta phase tomorrow, making it's full launch to the U.S. Accomplishing what most Google offerings never can, leaving Beta doesn't seem that much will change for the service, as just about everyone I know that has wanted to get in on it has, or has visited the various clone sites.
If you are unaware of Hulu, and are to lazy to go to the site tomorrow, it is a streaming video service being offered by NBC and Fox as a viable means for on line content distribution. Tomorrow will see the addition of Warner Bros., Lion's Gate, the NBA and the NHL. The companies wanted to try and stave off illegal downloading by offering an attractive, easy way to stream video on line which they could also sell advertising for.
There have been some concerns about Hulu (check the comments), but I've been using it intermittently since I got my invite, and I have to say that I generally like it, and the high def content is a nice touch. I'd like to see more seasons of shows up, but that's just me. I mean, Buffy Season 1 was fantastic, but I'd much rather get into the full-on lesbian action of the later seasons. In any case, swing on over to Hulu tomorrow for the full launch.

Wow. I just stopped in and watched an episode of Family Guy. I'll admit when they said "with limited commercial interruption" I was a little worried but the weren't any commercials yet, so thats cool. If it stays like this I don't really feel a need to download most of those shows anymore as I usually just watch them once and then delete them.
Wow... that was... positive. Ummm... it will probably suck once the movies have ads and the buffering gets ridiculous?
I, as a Canadian, cannot view their content. That's a pretty big concern for me right there. I guess I'll just have to get the content elsewhere.
Hulu is inaccessible from Japan.
Which is annoying, because I want to watch a lot of what's on it.
