Johnny Non-Sonic: Wireless Neckband Allows Voiceless Phone Call
Ever wanted to make a phone call but were too lazy to actually speak? Thanks to a new gizmo/technology called the Audeo, you just may get your wish. At the moment it takes a carefully trained person, but that person can nevertheless send nerve signals to a neckband that relays those signals, wirelessly, to a computer that outputs words in a computerized voice. (Stephen Hawking jokes to come, I'm sure.)
Ambient Corporation founder Michael Callahan, who demos the technology in this video, likens his work to the early days of voice recognition - in other words, still nascent but full of promise. My conundrum: does this device set off "They know what you're thinking!" paranoia or "They'll never know what you're saying!" anti-paranoia?

I guess Captain Pike's beeping chair from Star Trek is embarrassingly obsolete now.
We're on our way to "Ghost in the Shell" tech now!:)
That is pretty neat and creepy all at the same time. I usually have a million things running trough my mind, that thing would probably break lol.
