Mac Vs. PC Battle Royale: Who Gets Served?
So here it is, the final straw in the Mac vs. PC Battle. And what has it come down to? Dueling system sounds!
These videos are both pretty nifty, and both have been created using only the system sounds found within Windows for the first video and Mac OSX for the second video. I think these both do showcase something deep within the two operating systems: The Mac song, like it's OS, is simple, understated and sleek. The Windows song is flashy, technical, and requires some manipulation to pull off properly.
So which do you prefer?

If it ain't broke... cease production. Right?
It seems like you can actually manipulate the pitch with PC whereas the Mac tones are preset. So I'm goin with Windows.
And why the heck was there a Wilhelm scream in the Mac one?:P
Yeah, the pitch manipulation is either just more creative or cheating at this imaginary contest. In any case, it's the composition I prefer. The second one is no more adventurous than what Mario Paint could do with the same samples hacked in.
Techno in a minor key? I'm moist. Reminds me of Sonic CD's Future tracks.
if I'm not mistaken the willhelm scream was a default mac sound that would play if things went horribly wrong. Though they also had a sound of glass breaking.
