Robot Snakes Are Everywhere!

Thanks to Howie Choset from Carnegie Mellon for making the future terrifying and then setting it to good old fashioned techno. While sucking on my glowstick and looking for my PLUR pals, I almost missed the totally freaking awesome maneuverability of this modular, gaited robot snake thingy, which can shimmy up poles, through pipes, and just sorta generally Matrix your face.

Unlike Neo's chrome-plated opponents, however, these snakes were built with cheap hobby-grade servos. I want one, and I'm gonna name it Nagini.
