Earth Day 2008: Dell Unveils Tiny Bamboo Green PCs
Somehow, I missed writing about Dell's new small, green, bamboo clad computer that will be arriving sometime "later this year."
Announced at the Fortune Green Conference by Dell CEO Michael Dell, this little beauty touts 70% less power and 81% less space usage than standard desktops, and a gorgeous bamboo case that looks like the result of a lovingly crafted case mod.
The beauty isn't only skin deep, either: the internals use recycled materials like "old bottles, milk jugs and detergent cases."
The price for this stylish piece of eco-tech? $500-$700.
Dell's certainly back on the map with this hippie nerd.
