Flickr Gives In To Demands, Free Donuts For All!

I really wan'ts kidding when I said Flickr users love to protest. So much so that they will even protest another protest! Think about it for a minute... Is your mind blown yet? Here, take a drag of this, it'll help make sense of the rest of this story...
The Flickr group We Demand Donuts was formed in reaction to the No Flickr Video user-group, as a way to solidly protest the original protesters. The new group demands that Flickr give all users donuts, insisting that if they reach 20,000 members, Flickr will be forced to cave in to the groups demands. They have also declared April 16th the Day of the Donut, encourage all members to upload pictures of donuts all day to show their solidarity. I can only imagine the flood of people pouring into their local Dunkin' Donuts, snapping a pic, then quickly running out so they can upload their new treasure to the group.
But the irony doesn't stop there. Flickr has caved to the demands of We Demand Donuts! Proving that user-groups can force the company to cower, Flickr has announced that they will be giving all members of the group a free donut, on the official Day of the Donut no less! Of course, those members will have to go to an undisclosed-as-of-yet donut shop in San Fransisco, and be a member of the group, and will only be permitted one donut. Take that, No Video Group!
I think this sort of irreverance is not only perfect for the situation, but should be appied to all companies world wide. Don't pay attention to your customers, instead mock them!

Too Too funny.
Of course now there is a "No Free Donuts" protest.
