Scissor Sisters: First HD Broadcast By A Gay TV Network!

Fans of the Scissor Sisters will now have to thank Logo, the gay TV network, for a first ever event: Scissor Sisters: Live at the O2 Arena will be broadcast in HD on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 8PM ET/PT.
Billed as the "first ever gay TV Hi-Def broadcast," the concert is a small, but specially interesting milestone for us here at Homotron.
Lisa Sherman, executive vice president and general manager of Logo shows she can cater to the gays by adding:
"HD lets gay people admire what we love most about live performances: every detail, every visual nuance and every of splash of color."
We do love us some colour.
Now some of you may be telling yourself "Wait a second, but Logo isn't carried in HD on my provider! I won't be able to get my HD Scissor Sisters!"
You, dear reader, are quite right. Logo actually doesn't have an HD version of the channel, so in order to actually deliver the concert to you in HD, the concert will be simultaneously broadcast on MHD, MTV's HD channel (MTV owns Logo.)
Ok so yeah, it's technically not airing in HD on Logo, but it's still brought to you *by* Logo, so it counts, OK?
Press release after the jump.
