The Kitty CornerShot is a modification. Basically, some guy put an adorable stuffed animal on the gun. Shooters can cock the rifle using the cat's hind legs.
Imagine you're a soldier in the war-torn streets of Baghdad. Headquarters informed you there's enemy nearby, but you haven't spotted anything. Suddenly you see an adorable kitty hanging out next to a burnt-out laundromat. You think, What a delightful surprise! An adorable kitty!
BANG! You're dead! Never trust a pussy.
The best part is minute 1:51 when the gun is fired, causing the cat's sweet and cuddly face to explode in a whirlwind of unfettered violence.

One way or another, Microsoft will try to sell you a phone.
This video makes me think of another metaphor that maybe should be on the technology language list: looking down the barrel of a gun. I don't know much about guns, but that phrase means your life is in danger, so maybe these guys shouldn't be cocking a rifle and handing it to each other muzzle first to stare down.
