Homotron Week In Review: Week Ending 5/10/2008

Another week, another step closer to the 3G iPhone. I'm all set and my economic "stimulus" package money is already earmarked towards the new precious.

...Yeah, it makes me feel a little dirty using it as Bush intended, I know.

• Nike gives us an excuse to ice down hot athletes. Yummy.

• The NYT has distilled my geeky life into an easy flow-chart format. I'm now looking for the cameras that have recorded my every move that led to the chart's frightening accuracy.
• AT&T has basically told us the new iPhone is coming next month. If you're an AT&T employee, no vacation for you!
• Say it with me now: Mac OS X is pronounced "Mac - O - S - TEN." Any other pronunciation is heathen talk!
• LOGO shows are now starting to pop up online (legally)! Go and get your gay TV on!
• Unlock that phone without hacks. (*cough* iPhone *cough*)
• "Me too!" syndrome hits Philips as they show off their new touch screen phone concept. A little late to the party, eh Philips?
• Get ready for officers to shoot goo into your face.
• Please, for the love of all that is good, call your senator and tell them to vote against the PRO-IP act!
• Those of you with a .edu e-mail address (even alumni): get your copy of MS Office 2007 Ultimate for only $60! (Hurry! You've only got until May 16!)
• Cancer stick junkies can now get their fix (while helping them quit) via means more fit for us Homotrons.
• Our Gadget of the Week was the beautiful, stylish, compact and environmentally friendly Eco Bamboo computer... from Dell. Yeah, I was surprised too.
