Microsoft Leaning Toward Hostile Takeover of Yahoo!

There's a good chance we'll see the end of this epic struggle by COB today. Reports the Wall Street Journal:
A hostile approach likely would be drawn out and bring the risk that many key Yahoo employees would leave in the process. Yahoo's poison-pill antitakeover defenses essentially require any would-be hostile acquirer to remove its board. A vote on the directors occurs annually at Yahoo's shareholder meeting, for which Yahoo hasn't announced a date but is expected to hold by July.
Oh wait. So that means a hostile takeover would draw this epic struggle out like that stinking election that's happening outside my window.
I think hostile is the only way to go. Yahoo! isn't doing well. They're shuffling their feet. And if Microsoft is concerned about company image after disseminating a company ... that means they're wearing sweaters in hell.
