Microsoft's Not-So-Cheap Ploy To Rope Searchers

Remember how, earlier today, I asked Microsoft what it was doing to compete against Sony's moddable PS3? You don't? Fine. Whatever.
Well, I got my answer: Microsoft is throwing money at you! Today @ PC World highlights Mr. Gates' latest effort to combat the evils of Google and Yahoo! with Microsoft Live Search Cashback.
Basically, if you want something, go to this site, buy it and receive cash back from your purchase. Simple and sniper-effective. Works great for our failing economy (thanks again, President Bush!).
As a side note: is it just me or is anyone else sick of Internet companies totally raping the English language? Cashback? That's not a word. It's Cash Back. Is that so hard?
Another side note: Today @ PC World totally butchered this sentence: "A message posted message also refers to Jellyfish users transitioning their cash back accounts to Live Search." What's that supposed to mean, editorial staff?

Edditings am difficult.
You are not alone, NeonMadman. It's my firm belief that we need less raping of the language and more molestation of the writers.
Bad touch! Good touch!
the same poor wording plagues this site and gaygamer.net. I try to ignore it - it must be tough having to write for these sites every day, tired or not.
but I do find it ironic and distasteful that a writer from one of these sites would call out a writer from any other site for the same mistakes that they themselves make.
I never said I wasn't ironic or distasteful, so comment absorbed. Thanks!
