Rumorama: Transformers Coming to Blu-ray

This news will warm the cockles of Michael Bay's heart: Transformers is, according to rumours, scheduled to be released in Blu-ray format on September 2 of this year!

TVShowsOnDVD.com obtained the insider info indicating a 2-Disc Special Edition Transformers Blu-ray will be hitting the streets on September 2 and will be "similar to last year's HD-DVD version."

Hopefully they'll make use of all that extra space Blu-ray has over HD-DVD and give us some awesome new extras!
