Finally: Charge Your iPod On A Plane

So ... iPods came out like, a billion years ago, and up until now, no major airline has supported a jack to charge said omnipresent mp3 player. They still don't even have conventional plugs for laptops or plug-n-play vibrators. What's up with that?
Now United Airlines has finally unleashed jacks on their planes for pluggage and playage. They will supposedly even connect to that touchscreen device on the back of your neighbor's seat. That's pretty cool, and it's about frickin' time.

Within one hour of its unboxing, The One became the undisputed ruler of Tiny's entire home. Buy this or despair.
Cool. I actually never fly United but its about time the airlines did this! Too bad that laptops need a ground (3rd prong) to work, and you can't safely ground an electrical current on an airplane.
@friskyApple My laptop doesn't have a ground on it's portable plug... then again, it's my gimped work laptop, so you never know...
@neonmadman Now, the question is, how much are they going to charge for this? After all the airlines starting to charge for checked luggage, I wouldn't be surprised to see a cute little surcharge on this "service."
I don't believe they plan on charging for this "service." I mean, it's not really a service, is it? It's a fucking PLUG. Anyway, with the checked baggage fees, I'm sure they'll skate it on through as a, "Look, we're raping you, but you can use our plugs!"
