Firefox 3 Release Candidate 2 In The Wild

After a grueling hump day (and not in a good way), I made my way home yesterday to relax, play some games and watch some random programming on Hulu. I got some quality time in on Age of Conan (after a horrendous patching process), then opened up Firefox 3 and was about to hit up my Hulu bookmark when I received a cute little pop up letting me know that Firefox 3 Release Candidate 2 (FF3 RC2) was ready for download, so I said hell's yeah and went for it!
The full release notes for RC2 are here, so check them out for yourselves. I will say I'm really liking FF3 thus far, but as Den Den mentioned on the podcast, I can't say I'm ready for it to be my primary browser just yet. There are somethings it just doesn't do well, like manipulating and creating widgets in the Amazon partner store (which I'm guessing translates to other sites with similar functionality), but for the most part it is a faster, more efficient browser than FF2. I have been hearing rumblings that it is still a bit of a memory hog, but here's to hoping that's fixed before the final version is fixed. If you haven't tried out FF3 yet, grab it here and let us know what you think!

Within one hour of its unboxing, The One became the undisputed ruler of Tiny's entire home. Buy this or despair.
