The Woes Of Internet Dating, Boston Style
In our ever-convoluted world of socialization, many people rely on Internet dating websites to connect with singles. Some even resort to trolling craigslist for ... less than wholesome interaction.
My homecity of Boston is no different. Or is it?
After his Internet date failed to show, a Boston man flashed his junk at a newspaper vendor. Yeah, I'm not making this up.
... The victim says the suspect, who was sitting in his car, motioned for her to approach his car. Thinking that the suspect wanted to buy a newspaper, the victim walked over to the suspect's motor vehicle. Upon the reaching the car, the victim says she observed the suspect exposing and touching his private area. At this point, the victim says she ran inside the Dunkin Donuts and called her mother. When asked to explain his reason for being in the area, the suspect told officers, "I was in the area to meet a girl I met on the internet .. but .. she didn't show up."
This occurred on Flag Day. Flag Day, of all holidays! How dare he!
Let this be a standing warning to all you Internet daters out there. Uh ... I'm sure there's a lesson to be learned somewhere.
