Twitter On Twitter: What The Company Thinks They Are

First things first, it's good to be back! I had a great vacation, and got to spend some nice time relaxing, but it's definitely good to be back!

But on to the goodness! A lot of talk has gone on about Twitter. Many people have speculated on the usefulness (or lack thereof) of the service (including yours truly), and there are plenty of uses cropping up, a few of which we've talked about here at Homotron. Now it's time to here the word straight from the horse's mouth. What exactly does Twitter think it is?

This is a nice clip from the head honcho over at Twitter giving a great explanation of how the service started, what it tries to do, and highlights some of the crazy ways that Twitter is being used, some of which they didn't even know about until after the fact. Yes, I'm completely aware of the problems Twitter has been having lately, but I'm also aware of how great a service it is.
