Video: NewScientist Round-Up
In my continuing crush on the UK's excellent New Scientist magazine, I bring you the most recent NewScientist.com video round-up, chock-full of all the geekery a video-watching science and tech enthusiast could ask for. And a totally cool Brit chick narrator.
This week's vid is full of firsts, including the first-ever film of ovulation, showing the egg detach itself from the ovary and make its way toward the fallopian tube (sooo glad I'm gay). You'll also see NASA testing a moon rover in Washington State, and footage of tin degrading into tin pest - which usually takes years, but here occurs in just 30 hours thanks to a unique catalyst.
Next up: make diamond film from tequila!
