Video: Sleaze It Up With Surface In Vegas

Not content to leave its Surface Tables in AT&T stores (where the mean men won't let me play with it), Microsoft has opted for a significantly scummier placement: at the Rio in Las Vegas.

The Rio will be getting six Surface units, from which clubgoers shall order drinks (cool) and try to pick up women who will almost certainly be less pretty and less willing than they appear here (uncool).

Aside from the horror of what a pitcher of margaritas might do to the insides of a Surface Table (no matter how well-protected it may be, drunks in Vegas will figure out a way...), I can't help but mull over the wonderfully obscene uses a Surface Table could find in, say, slightly less hetero environs.

Fancy a stroll down to your local Eagle (every city has one) for a little show-n-tell?

I heard the Eagle in San Antonio, Texas became a lesbian bar. bummer.

The surface is nice and all, but it's no
Reactable.

Shoot, people have been building Projectors with Cameras that see IR light induced blobs for a while now, the only thing I like about the surface is the software.

Highly suspicious also is the amoeba patterns seen in the early surface demos. they look the same.

On topic, not a surprise. Money is money.

That was... disgusting. I mean really filthy gross. I need a shower now.

Why is Microsoft so hellbent on me not liking them at all?
