Video: Triforce Touchscreen Pointer, Now In Rubber
I admit that the thought of a flexible stylus that attaches to your touchscreen device with a charm-style lanyard never crossed my mind. And then, when it did, I didn't think it was a particularly great idea. I remained unconvinced even after watching this video from the makers of Triforce, which is the gizmo in question.
But I'm willing to admit that I may have erred - let's take a look at Triforce's list of features:
- It is steady in the hand and cannot be mislaid or lost.
- The pointer is always within easy reach and re-aligns to its correct position.
- The ergonomic design and performance allows comfortable use by hand without having to exert excess pressure.
- Extremely durable won't break.
- Frictionless and soft against the screen to prevent scratches.
- It's safe to keep in your pocket, can't cause damage to clothing or person.
- Gives easy access to your device by pulling the strap, and prevents you from dropping the device.
- Can be designed to go with all types of devices from strictly business to hip hop.
- Good for marketing and an effective promotional product.
Okay, I'm curious, but I'm still not sold. What did sell me is the video after the jump, which is definitely less sexy, but does make the Triforce look useful - it dangles uselessly from your device just as any other wrist strap or charm would, but when you need to use your touchscreen feature, the Triforce suddenly becomes a cute pointy thing that totally obviates the need to wipe away greasy fingerprints.
Plus, the inventor kinda looks like a grown-up Zelda.
