Apple Recruits Communist Sympathizer!

It appears that Segway's head techy will be leaving the scooter maker famous for silly tours and Chinese Army enhancements and heading to Apple to be the VP of Design for the Mac product line. My long held suspicions that Apple is a Communist Party backer are now confirmed...

Doug Field will be leaving Segway at a time when... well, at a time when we still think it's fun to talk about Segways, but none of us knows anyone who actually owns one.. We all know Apple for their sleek designs, so it also seems like Mr. Jobs may have made an interesting choice bringing Field's on in such an important role within Apple.

Does Field's have some sort of vision the rest of us are not privy to? Or maybe he has some contacts that Apple feels are key? Or maybe it's Field's clear and present link to the Communists that Apple is looking to expose? Who knows. This doesn't seem like a logical choice to me, but hell, a lot of Apple's design decisions don't seem logical to me either... and look where they are compared to me... so... yeah.
