Rumorama: T-Mobile Readying 3G Android Phone Launch

Take a seat and cool off, reader. It's hot out there, and T-Mobile feels your burn: rumor has it that T-Mobile USA has been working overtime to ready itself for its nationwide 3G network launch later this year, and the scuttlebutt says that an Android phone will be leading the carrier's cavalry.
Buzzwords include "HTC Dream" and "fourth quarter" and "Thank God I haven't ditched T-Mobile for an iPhone yet!"
Inside T-Mobile USA, the nation's underdog and distant fourth in the wireless biz, buzzwords most likely include "We desperately need more than just 29 million customers" and "You're my only hope Obi-Wan" and "This is the 'Droid we've been looking for!"
As a loyal T-Mobile customer myself (my 'loyalty' being the result of pure inertia, I should add), I'm curious to see how T-Mobile pulls this off - or doesn't. Spin the wheel, Raggedyman!
