Segways Will Pwn U!!1!
I know, it's not really suppose to be hilarious, but c'mon! They're on Segways. With rifles. It's like there should be little Hello Kitty icons on the things as well!
Apparently, the Chinese military is training certain units to be Segway units, specifically for the upcoming Olympics. In theory, the Segways will allow the soldiers to move quickly, once trained in balance and control, while allowing the soldier to use both hands for their weapons.
Gone are the days of the regal mounted soldier, in are the days of the slothful, comedy-ridden Segway soldier! How much different would Tienanmen Square have been if these were being used by the military instead of tanks?
