Microsoft Has A Super Secret Weapon: A New Mouse!

Microsoft has a teaser up on their hardware website emphasizing that they have something new coming out on September 9. This "Say Goodbye To Laser" tag line has lead just about everyone to assume that the big MS has a new and exciting Mouse coming out.

Yeah, I'm not sure "new" and "exciting" are words that should be associated with a computer mouse. Whatever it is has a few people up in a tizzy. Commenters over at Engadget posted up leaked photos on the German Amazon site, which has subsequently been pulled down.

Speculation aside, I'm just not sure what could possibly be that exciting about Mouse technology? "It moves your pointer... better..ish" I suppose we will see what all the hullabaloo is come September 9th though.
