Mobile Ralph Lauren Shopping Makes Me Happy

I'm not a fashionista. I'm really not. But my boyfriend is. And a happy boyfriend means a happy me. So I was pleasantly surprised to hear about the new Polo Ralph Lauren cell phone shopping initiative. Shopping by phone is really nothing new, but it has not really caught on in the states, and Ralph wants to be the first major fashion designer to offer Polo's on the go.

According to Lauren himself:

We recognize that in America this is going after somebody who is more comfortable with technology. The truth is that in other countries, it's becoming a part of their culture. The trend is coming, and as a fashion company it's very important to identify trends and get ahead of them. This is about someone who's interested in our brand and interested in technology, and wherever the two meet, that's what's appropriate.

So, basically, he's targeting us Homotron readers, and he didn't even bother sending us a press release?! As Lauren should know, in fashion, one day your in and the next day your out. Ralphie, you're so out. Unless, of course, you send me some discounts or something. Or one of your underwear models. Then you're totally in again. Christian and his HTMs have nothing on you!
