More Disney Classics Coming To Blu-ray!

I admit it. My fascination with (almost) everything Disney is one of my most stereotypically gay traits. I've been known to light up like a little kid on Christmas morning every time I drive up to Orlando to visit Disney World, so you can imagine my glee as Disney announced that they're going to be bringing many more of their classic movies out on Blu-ray soon:
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment will be releasing six animated classics, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio and Beauty and the Beast on Blu-ray over the next two years. These titles, also including Fantasia and Fantasia 2000, will all bow following the release of previously announced Sleeping Beauty on Blu-ray on Oct. 7.
So. Freakin'. Excited.
I was so upset when I realised I had missed my opportunity to buy Beauty and the Beast on DVD (damn you Disney Vault! *angry fist*) that this news makes me very happy indeed.
Fun bit of Den Den Boy trivia: Before I learned English, I had a sing-a-long video for the Beauty and the Beast soundtrack. In English. I can only imagine how badly I mangled the words as a little 8 year old singing along with my TV.

I understand Beauty and the Beast had a pretty poor video transfer, so maybe it's a good thing you missed it originally. I am curious to see how good these movies will look on Blu-ray. I have yet to see a non-CG animated movie on Blu-ray yet.
