Rumorama: Android Phone By September?

TmoNews reports upon a "reliable source" who says the HTC Android phone in the works for T-Mobile USA (AKA the HTC Dream) could be available this September, contradicting rumors that the phone could be delayed until 2009.
The proffered price point would compete with AT&T and iPhone 3G: $150 with two-year contract or a $399 full-retail price. As seen here, the phone would seem to offer a touch screen, a slide-out QWERTY keypad, a 3-megapixel camera - and 3G services that might be hampered by T-Mobile's 3G truancy.
With 3G service only available in New York and Las Vegas, T-Mobile has a ways to go to reach its 20-25 city goal before the new year.
