Rumorama: LED-Lit Cinema Displays?
If you've heard myself and Den Den griping about Apple's display line being overdue for an update, you'll appreciate the spirit of this bit of news: a new rumor has Apple prepping itself for an eco-friendly LED backlit series of Cinema Displays. Such a move would eliminate mercury from Apple's displays, as per Mr. Jobs' promise.
Cost, size, and probability remain unknowns, but since Apple hasn't refreshed its displays since the dark ages of 2004, it isn't the craziest idea in Crazy Town. That would be a certain app.
