No Genius: Disappoint Yourself With This Alarm Clock Machine

This alarm clock, which neither tells time nor sounds a daily alarm, purports to help the customer live like Leonardo Da Vinci, who apparently lived through six cycles each day: spending 3.5 hours awake followed by 30 minutes of naptime. The cumulative effect is 21 hours of waking time every day, three hours of sleep, and what I'm guessing must be a hugely elevated risk of experiencing a psychotic break.
Or inventing a wooden helicopter, depending on whether you're a freakin' Renaissance genius or just some shlomo with a funny clock.
The funny clock has only two modes - it either displays "Awake" to let you know that you're... awake... or "Sleep" to let you know that you've already missed precious seconds of your allotted 30min of unconsciousness. Repeat the four-hour cycle six times within 24 hours and you've successfully lived a day as Da Vinci. Or at least napped like him.
Of course, for those of us who take a good 30-45min to fall asleep, this alarm clock functions more like a torture device - less Genoa, more Guantanamo.
