Sprint Bids Adieu To The PC, Profit From Music Store

Like the kid on the block with the worst lemonade recipe, today Sprint quietly announced that it will be pulling the plug on the PC component of its music store. After October 14, former customers will be unable to download protected files - and while they'll still be able to backup content from their phones to a PC, their computer will be unable to play the music.
Sprint gave no reason for the pull - but Sprint is Sprint, so that may be enough of a reason right there. The Samsung Instinct loses another notch off its belt, even with Sprint's bottom-dollar $0.99 song pricing.
