Tokyo Shinto Shrine: Pray Away The BSOD

Japanritual.img_assist_custom.jpg

For all those having issues with iTunes 8, it looks like there may be a solution: Fly to Tokyo and go to a Shinto Temple within the tech-heavy Akihabara district. Once there, your computer or gadget can be blessed against all malware and the dreaded Blue Screen Of Death. The Kanda-Myojin Shrine started this practice more out of natural progression than anything else, as it is located near the heart of all things techy and Japanese (which is almost all things techy), but however they got to this point, I think it's awesome!

Now, if they can bless my laptop from transmitting any data to my IT department about the sites I visit at work, I'd be flying out to Tokyo this moment! Even if that is outside the range of the Shinto belief, it may still be worth taking a trip out there. Maybe the can exorcise my machine while they are at it?
