"That One" Takes The Twitter Crown

I love social media. Seriously, it's one of the tech trends we can clearly point to and say that it is making a huge difference in our world today. And what I love most about the social media trend is how it's affecting, being affected by, and being used in the current U.S. Presidential campaigns.
Twitter has been following the hot buzz worthy topics as they happen for each debate and providing handy dandy charts to showcase what sparked people's interest, similar to what Google does with their trending data. So what's the result of this past week's debate? Well, "that one" surely sparked some interest. In fact, it was by far the most Tweeted about phrase of the evening!
That phrase really has garnered a lot of attention over the past few days, hasn't it?
Anyway, to me this is just another really good example of showing how people are becoming involved in the process, one way or another. With the advent of social media, you no longer have to go door to door or sit in a call center to make an impact (although, those are still extremely important tactics), and you are able to engage in a conversation on the topics (or phrases) of the day. Twitter is one the absolute best ways for this to occur, because of it's immediacy and social aptitude.
