Google World Domination Plan: Pre-Installed Chrome

If Google's plans to control the world and be the new, more benevolent (supposedly) Microsoft were ever in doubt, news from the Chrome camp should serve to bolster those beliefs: Once Chrome gets out of Beta come January, they will begin to work with OEMs to pre-install Chrome as the browser of choice on new PCs.
That's kind of a big deal. If Google can convince Dell (for example) to pre-install Chrome on new computers and maybe forgo Internet Explorer, with some cash for Dell to sweeten the deal I'm sure, then new computer buyers are way more likely to use Google's browser and sacrifice all their personal data to Google. It's a bit of a long stretch, but I think the big G has the power to pull it off. Not to mention the plan to have Chrome ready for Mac and Linux by early next year.
Personally, I like the idea if only to reduce the dominance of Internet Explorer. I just plain hate that browser. But I really haven't used Chrome since about a month or two after it first dropped. I may be tempted to try it again once the official release comes out. For me, it wasn't that it was a bad browser, but it just wasn't FF3/Flock 2. Have you been using Chrome? Do you think the moms and pops of the world that buy new PCs will be willing to use Chrome if it's pre-installed? Is Google really just trying to take over the entire world?
