Verizon Wants Even More Of Your Money

Good ol' Verizon, they're so cute! It looks like they're feeling the pinch nowadays, and as a solution they've decided that after November 14, no one is allowed to buy a smart phone, including the ever popular Blackberry, without purchasing a minimum $30 data plan as well. No more pay-as-you-go (translation: I don't want data, but you're going to leave it open so that if I somehow bump the internet button on my phone and run up data charges, I'll get raped when the bill comes) or small data plans. Nope. Now, if you want to look like a big boy with a big boy phone, you have to pay like the big boys.
Or, you know, just switch to another carrier that isn't currently trying to sap as much money out of you pocket as they can possibly get. Your choice I suppose.
