HP Launches Linux PC, Dumb Teachers Everywhere Run For Cover

As incensed as I was after reading Jesse James' story of Linux and idiocy, it's only fair that we follow up with some more pro-Linux news: HP broke ground today by introducing its first Linux desktop, aimed appropriately at small offices and schools.
The HP Compaq dc5850 can now be purchases preloaded with SUSE Linux and OpenOffice. Additionally, HP is making the Linux versions less expensive than its Windows-installed counterparts - $52 less at its price of $519. Orders begin December 15.
Take that, ignorant educators!
