Pretty Machine Flower Dies If You Aren't Green

Please manipulate me with forced empathy, I always say - although this could just as easily be plain old guilt: English designer Carl Smith created the Wilting Flower to function as a reminder and visual indicator of power consumption. The biomechanoid flower changes color from blue to yellow to red to purple, and wilts as it does so. It looks so graceful that I'm actually really dying to get one and use up a lotta juice just to see my robot flower dance!
While it's still a concept now, the Wilting Flower is expected to sell for about $90 if it gets made, which is expensive but not absurd for something so dorkily beautiful.
