Wal-Mart Will Sell iPhone, Just Not Cheap

Last week we brought you rumors that Wal-Mart would be selling a $99 4GB iPhone. We then expounded on the virtues (rather, lack thereof) of Apple selling through the retailer that hates their pesky employees that ask for reasonable wages and benefits. That didn't go over so well. Oh well, what can you do? You can't satisfy everyone!
It looks like the rumors were only half-true though. According to Bloomberg, Wal-Mart will be selling the iPhone at regular prices (well, a few super-saver pennies cheaper), and will be offering them up soon.
If you don't mind be trampled by mob-mentality shoppers or talking to Uncle Ted the Greeter for 20 minutes while he tries to figure out where exactly the fancy-schmancy technology stuff is, this might be the perfect place for you to grab an iPhone. Or, if you're filled only by anger, hate, rage and a few Tacos like me, you'll never consider shopping at a retailer that farms mullets and the souls of their shoppers (at the same time... they have amazingly efficient processes that result is lowered cost for consumers). Instead, you'll write inflammatory comments on some random web page specifically designed to elicit reactions.
