Windows 7 Beta Floating Around The Internets

Windows 7 in 2009?

If you just can't wait for the next version of Windows (and if you just got a new computer with Windows Vista, I can't blame you), then I have good news! (that is, if you're willing to break the law and install the beta version of a Windows system. The choice is tough, I know... Vista, or beta version of Windows 7? hmmmm)

It appears that someone at Microsoft was careless (or determined) enough to let a copy of the newest beta build of Windows 7 leak out into the world and, as is customary with these things, the results are all over the bittorrent internets right now.

My own quick search across some select bittorrent trackers (research! just research!) turned up positives on the file. This build is marked with a number of 7000, and incorporates the latest improvements Microsoft has seen fit to release to beta testers.

Scuttlebutt on the internets is that this beta build is actually pretty damn stable. Surprising, I know.

If you're willing to risk running a beta OS, (not to mention break the law) then go forth. You know where to look.
